Dore Family Information

During the week of Nov. 14-20/04 a 5 member team from No-Burn Canada traveled to Kingston Washington to Make The World A Safer Place for the Dore family.

Roseanne a widow with 3 daughters lost their home to fire in March 2004. With no insurance policy in place they were forced to live in a shed on the back of the property with no running water or electricity. When No-Burn was approach by Extreme Makeover Home Edition, No-Burn Canada volunteered their expertise and products to protect the New Dore Family Home.

The No-Burn Canada team arrived on Monday Nov. 15/04 and over the 3 days spent over 200 hours protecting the home with No-Burn Wood Gard for the chimney chase and No-Burn Fabric Gard for all the fabrics in the house. When the team was not installing the No-Burn Proactive Fire Suppression System they were helping anywhere they could. The team ended up helping to build the fireplaces both in the dining/living room as well as in the master bedroom. 1 team member helped out with his carpentry skills to finish some paneling in 1 of the girls bedroom.

This was an adventure of a lifetime and No-Burn Canada is proud to have been able to help make another family home safer.
